WHAT??!!! They are forced to perform in major shows and other functions, and even ribbon-cutting ceremonies, for free or at very low pay?!!! THAT IS JUST WRONG!!! What is the point of doing it then??
u mean wats the point of THEY make Fung do that or the point of Fung's doing that?? well, THEY make the artistes do so is that, more ppl will gather around, to c their idols, especially couples! and they make their $$ from that! the point of Fung and other artistes do that is: they are the employees, thats just simply why  |

SS: Isnt fung earning big bucks now? Leaving TVB would be a waste, wouldnt it?

There are many reasons for him to accept these functions - relationship, management, promotion.
@ Kat: Niki is BMA's, and BMA is a sub company of TVB.
I find it's kinda normal in life. You can't find anyone who is naive and innocent anywhere now. Modern life is that.

I doubt Fung would leave TVB anytime now, his fame is quite immense already. ^ I don't think he should leave TVB until he gets a stable position in the movie and or music industry. Sure, he's doing well, but audiences are fickle.
Yup, it will take TVB's PR to handle this scandal for a while. |

I think Fung's income comes mainly from his singing career, his albums & being spokespersons for many brands. Salary for TVB functions, TVB serials & associated activities also contribute somewhat to his gross income but this is not the main.
ICAC in HK functions independantly of the government & is well respected worldwide for its impartiality & independence. It's good they have taken action.
